Lash Lift
Lash Lift
A lash lift, also known as a lash perm or eyelash lift, is a cosmetic procedure performed on the eyelashes to give them a semi-permanent curl. It is designed to enhance the appearance of the lashes by creating a more lifted and wide-eyed look. The procedure involves using a special solution and silicone pads or rods to curl the lashes from the base to the tip. The lashes are then treated with a setting lotion to lock in the curl.
Lash lifts are typically done in a salon or by a trained professional who carefully applies the solutions and shapes the lashes. The entire process usually takes about one hour. The effects of a lash lift can last anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the individual's lash growth cycle.
It is important to note that a lash lift is different from eyelash extensions. While lash extensions involve attaching individual synthetic lashes to natural lashes, a lash lift works with your existing lashes to enhance their natural curl. Lash lifts are generally considered safe when performed by a trained professional and can be a popular alternative to eyelash extensions for those seeking a more natural look.
